handrails on library or shelving ladders are very much down to personal preference, use one or two of our handrails to add extra comfort when reaching high up on you library ladder. shown here is our straight loop return handrail which we can also offer in an angled equivalent more suited to mezzanines.

this library ladder is the perfect combo of walnut and dark bronze powder coated handrail and fixing rails. The hooks have a longer return enabling the ladder to be stored vertically on the same fixing rail out of the way.
easily stored away...
now this is one we struggle with slightly! we know you'll love your ladder and want to see it out in its new beautiful space...but...if space is an issue, it can easily be stored away as all our library or bookcase lean to ladders have a nice slim profile meaning they can fit into tight spaces.
adding cork...
we love cork here at make me, it's so tactile and has little environmental impact - we can add cork to the base of the ladder upright to help with slipping or marking to sensitive flooring and we can also add it where your ladder meets whatever it is you're trying to access, just let us know at point of order.
